Adjusting your browser Fonts

The Mid-West Materials pages use a small standard font in CSS which are supported by Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.0 or greater and Microsoft Explorer 4.0 or greater, and are suitable for display on 640X480 monitors. Fonts sizes differ between platforms, browsers and individual settings choosen by the user.

Changing your font & size in Netscape Navigator

Click on "OPTIONS" in the Netscape Menu Bar. Select "General Preferences" and the "Preferences" Window will pop-up. Select "Fonts" and it will show you your current font settings. The font displayed throughout the Hubbell Website is the "Proprotional Font" Click on the "Choose Font" Button on the same line as "Use the Proportional Font", Netscape will pop-up the "Choose Base Font" window. Highlight the new font and/or size you wish to use and click the "OK" button (if you do not wish to make any changes click the "Cancel" button). You will now be back at the "Preferences" window, click the "OK" button to save your changes or "Cancel" to discard your changes. If you click "OK" your font will now be changed.

Changing your font size in Microsoft Explorer

You can change the font size in one of two ways. #1 Click on the Font button on the Explorer Tool Bar until you have the font size you desire. #2 Select "View" from the Explorer menu Bar. Select "Fonts..." and then select the size you want (from smallest to largest).

Select "View" from the Explorer menu bar, then select "Options". This will bring up the "Options" Window. Make sure you are on the "General" page. Click the "Font Settings" button at the bottom of the window, this will bring up the "Font" window. Select the "Proportional Font" you wish to use then click the "OK" button to save your changes (clicking cancel will discard your changes). You will now be back in the "Options" window. Click "OK" to save your changes or "Cancel" to discard them.
